A nice side effect of the purchase of housing Pentax MX was sold with a 50mm lens (probably the one which was originally bought with the camera, there are about thirty years of it), I would probably never bought separately, which had been filled in this area: the SMC Pentax-M 50mm f: 1.7
- Type: Fixed focal lens manual
- Manufacturer: Pentax
- Model: SMC Pentax-M 50mm f: 1.7
- Purchase Date: November 28, 2007 (ebay UK)
- Filter Holder: 49mm
- Diaphragm: f/1.7 to 22, six blades
- Focus: 45cm to infinity
So obviously this is not the splendid SMC Pentax-M 50mm f: 1.4 , I bought A few weeks earlier: 1 / 2 diaphragm more, this is not huge in absolute terms, but there is still a difference in terms of image quality. Besides the eight diaphragm blades f: 1.4 produces blurred background much milder than the six blades of the f: 1.7.
For cons, the 50mm f: 1.7 has an advantage: it is much smaller and lighter. It fits well without concerns in cases faster, while the f: 1.4 is a bit limited, and besides, it is cheap enough in hand to be able to carry around in a bit harsh conditions without endangering their heritage ...
short: a good little soldier, always ready for action!
